Killorglin lead the way in Under 12

JK SPORTS UNDER 12 Premier

KILLORGLIN lead the way in the JK Sports Under 12 Premier after they moved onto 10 points from their game played.

Their latest three points came courtesy of a 5-0 home win over Park A. The home side were 1-0 up at the break thanks to Stephen Gannon penalty. He scored two more in the second half including one from the penalty spot. Jesse O’Reilly and Liam Hayes got the other goals.

Killarney Celtic are second on seven points from three games. They won 6-0 away at Inter Kenmare. Josh Bowler hit a hat trick with Celtic’s other goals coming from Padraig O’Donoghue, Ted O’Gorman and Callum Cronin.

Tralee Dynamos are onto four points following their 7-1 win over LB Rovers. Adam Evans hit a hat trick and his three goals were added to by strikes from Shay Kelliher, Pierce Lowth, Shayne Stack and Jake Hoare. Michael Houlihan got the goal for LB Rovers.

Killarney Athletic and Iveragh United drew 0-0 to leave both sides tied on four points.

Division 1

FOLLOWING this weekend’s games Killarney Celtic B and Castleisla­nd are both tied are the top of the JK Sports Under 12 Division 1. Celtic B got the better of Mastergeeh­a 5-2 for whom Liam Horgan and Diarmuid Furlong got the goals.

Jack Tagney, Eamon Guiney, Steven Lyons, Kieran Boyce and Eugene Crowley were the Celtic goal scorers. Castleisla­nd had goals from Finn Nolan, Myinty and Jack Joy in their 5-3 win over Dingle Bay Rovers. Aodhan Ó Beaglaoich, Cian MacGearail­t and James Hoare got the goals for the West Kerry boys.

Listowel Celtic are just three points further back on 6 points, level with Killorglin, after they defeated Tralee Dynamos B 7-3.

Division 2

MEK have enjoyed life in Under 12 Division 1 and this was an important win for them. Their 3-1 win over Camp Junior sees the Mid and East Kerry side go two for two and stopped the opposition winning four games in a row.

The game was level at 1-1 at the break with Cian Fleming on the mark. In the second half an Aaron Dinham penalty and a great free kick from James Clifford gave MEK the win.

Killarney Athletic will be delighted to get a win to add to the two points they have from their opening two games. This moves them up the table with five points. They beat Ballyhar who had Gerard Long on the mark.
