Annual November Mass for patients who died in Kerry University Hospital during the year (including stillbirth and miscarriag­e) will be celebrated in the Hospital Chapel on Monday, November 6, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited.

NOVEMBER MASSES

For the people who died during the year in the parish will take place on the following dates: Ballyhar Friday, November 10, at 7.30 p.m. And Firies Friday, November 17, at 7.30 p.m.

The death has taken place of Sr Jarlath Kerrisk, Presentati­on Convent, Lixnaw, and formerly Gortalassa, Firies Burial took place in the Convent Cemetery after Requiem Mass today, Wednesday.

TEAMS – Our under-14s playing in division one defeated Iveragh utd at murt scott park on Saturday last on a scoreline of 2-1. Colm o Shea and Archie o Connor were our goalscorer­s with excellent performanc­es from James Horgan, Luke Ring, Connall o Mahony Aaron Burke, Jack Teahan and Pádraig Fell. Our under-12 second team lost to Killarney Athletic 5-1 with Gerard Long scoring the goal while James Dempsey and Michael o Sullivan played well.

RACENIGHT – The club will hold a video race night at sheahans bar firies on Wednesday, December 27. Horses €40 each and advertisme­nts for inclusion in the race book will cost €40 ,€60 or €100 depending on size of advertisem­ent.
