The Fianna Fail councillor said Iveragh Park is the second largest Local Authority Housing Estate in South Kerry.
PEDESTRIAN CROSSING
Councillor Michael Cahill has received the following response to representations in respect of the pedestrian Crossing in the vicinity of Scoil Mhuire NS, Killorglin. The controlled pedestrian crossing on the Sunhill Road serves parents and pupils crossing to and from the National School and is also a vital piece of infrastructure for those with disabilities accessing Killorglin town centre. It is the Council’s recommendation that other worthwhile initiatives such as the Junior School Warden Scheme would work in sync with the current pedestrian crossing, as any change to the crossing would not be optimal in terms of serving the needs of all road users.
