Kerry properties go up for auction
WITH November and December proving to be strong months for both residential and commercial property sales in recent years, the forthcoming Munster Property auction is positioned to be the focus of considerable interest.
Munster Property Auction will hold its final public auction of the year on Thursday, November 30 at 7pm in The Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork, and the auction team are now speaking to property owners and potential buyers, who are keen to make a sale between now and Christmas.
“We are continuing to see a strong appetite for all varieties of property throughout the province. The lack of supply of good family homes as well as commercial/investment properties is putting upward pressure on property prices in most locations and in particular the urban areas of the province,” said Patrick Convey of The Munster Property Auction.
The Kerry properties to feature in the auction include a detached three- bedroom, single storey residence in Cordal West, Castleisland. This is a ‘walk in’ property that is neat and tidy with excellent views of the countryside. It is only a five-minute drive to Castleisland and less than 15 minutes’ drive from Kerry Airport.
It is offered at bids over €99,000 in partnership with Property Professionals Woulfe & Co, Abbeyfeale.
Another Kerry property included in the auction is the Grotto Cottage, located close to Listowel on the main road to Tralee. The cottage is keenly priced and is suited for someone looking to getting on the property ladder, for a holiday cottage or investor seeking immediate rental income investment.
The garden area has been completely landscaped and the cottage itself is in good structural order but requires internal refurbishment. It is offered at bids over €39,000 in partnership with William Hennigan Auctioneer, Killarney.
Meanwhile, in Lispole village, a large commercial premises is for sale. The building, on the main Dingle to Tralee road, was reroofed in 2001 and also includes a number of detached sheds. This lot is offered at bids over €55,000 in partnership with Fitzgerald and Associates, Dingle.
