KILCUMMIN

SENIOR FOOTBALL: DR Crokes 0-12 Kilcummin 0-11. Our Senior team completed their season on Saturday last when they bowed out of the O’Donoghue Cup to Dr Crokes in Lewis Road by a single point. This was a very creditable performance and we even lead by six points early in the second half. However Dr Crokes introduced some influential substitutes and this combined with a number of spurned opportunities by ourselves saw the home team go forward to face legion in the semi final. What has been at times a difficult season for players and management with injuries and absences their recent performances have given the supporters much hope for the year ahead and with dedication and a little bit of luck who knows where it might take us. Well done to players, management and supporters for your commitment to your club. Team: Brendan Kealy (0-2) Mikey O’Shea, Donal Maher, Damien O’Leary, Sean O’Leary, Chris O’Leary, Dan Moynihan, Kevin Gorman, Shane McSweeney (0-1) Kevin McCarthy ( 0-3, 2F), Noel Duggan (0-2), Matt Keane, Daniel O’Leary (0-1), Philip Casey (0-2) Kelvin Teahan. Subs used Jamie O’Donoghue, Ian Devane.
