The Oyster Tavern hosted an amazing event on Friday night last All in aid of Kerry Hospice (Spa Fenit Branch) and Cork Kerry Link Bus. Two Michelin Star Chefs treated over 100 guests to a taste of German Food .The night started with a punch bowel reception and they also had a raffle during the night with some great prizes. Well done to all involved in a hugely successful event which was enjoyed by all who attended. As always a huge thank you to all who bought tickets for the night, for the raffle and to all who supported in any way.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

Kilorglin Branch held a church Gate Collection over the weekend and they would like to thank all who supported them over the couple of days.

THE ANVIL GROUP

Well done to all involved in this group who have raised huge money for Kerry Hospice / Palliative Care Unit. They held a very successful Charity Honda 50/70/90 Fun Run last week which started in the Anvil Bar, Boolteens and had stops in Minard, Lispole, and ended up back in Boolteens. The sun was shining for this event and there was a big crowd taking part.

We here in Kerry Hospice are extremely grateful to the Anvil Group who continue to support Palliative Care /Kerry Hospice Foundation. A huge thank you to all who supported in any way.

EVENTSCOMI­NGUP

Annascaul/Inch Branch are holding an event on the 22nd of November in the Chart House in Dingle. They have got great support with this event from many businesses and would like to thank all for the great support.

DUBLIN MARATHON

A huge congratula­tions to all who did the Dublin City Marathon and especially to all who ran in aid of Kerry Hospice Foundation. We are very grateful to all who decided to run for Kerry Hospice Foundation and if you would like to run or cycle for the cause please get in touch.

 ??  ?? KILLORGLIN TIDY TOWNS is getting ready for next year’s Tidy Towns competitio­n with the first registered 2018 vehicle! The new Cairt Uisce is specially designed to help water all the various planters around town.
Killorglin Tidy Towns has gained a massive 30 points in the national competitio­n in the past 3 years breaking through the magic 300 point barrier and is now just two per cent away from gaining a medal in the national competitio­n.
This is primarily down to the hard work and effort of all the community volunteers and the businesses in the town.
A quick look at the figures gives an idea of the work carried out throughout the year: Volunteer hours 7,200; Bags of rubbish picked & collected since January 1,105; Volume of water used to water flowers 50,000 litres; Number of summer bedding flowers planted 2,100; Spring bulbs planted 10,000.
