En­able Ire­land thank TLI for €8,400 in do­na­tions

ABBEY­DOR­NEY-BASED com­pany TLI Group have pre­sented al­most €8,400 to En­able Ire­land Kerry Ser­vices over the last year.

TLI Group – one of Ire­land’s lead­ing elec­tri­cal en­gi­neer­ing and con­sul­tancy com­pa­nies – se­lected En­able Ire­land as the firm’s 2017 Char­ity of the Year.

The money was raised from a se­ries of events and ac­tiv­i­ties or­gan­ised through­out the year and the lat­est do­na­tion was pre­sented to the char­ity by TLI staff last week.

The lat­est staff-led ini­tia­tive was link­ing the com­pany’s safety per­for­mance to char­ity, which saw a cheque be­ing pre­sented ev­ery three months for an amount based on all em­ploy­ees’ safety in­volve­ment.

The cheque for this quar- ter was pre­sented by Aaron O’Ma­hony as he was sin­gled out for his safety per­for­mance.

On top of this, the com­pany also com­pleted a char­ity walk and bake sale.

“In the last 12 months TLI have raised a whop­ping €8,399 for our ser­vices in Kerry. We can’t thank all the staff enough for all their ef­forts and sup­port,” said En­able Ire­land Kerry Ser­vices Man­ager Sean Scally

“This money has al­lowed us to sig­nif­i­cantly up­date our As­sis­tive Tech­nol­ogy Depart­ment by pur­chas­ing an In­ter­ac­tive White­board, an iPad Air and an iPad rack. This most re­cent do­na­tion of €3,399 will be used to pur­chase equip­ment to en­hance the ser­vices we pro­vide to chil­dren and adults with dis­abil­i­ties in Kerry” Sean added.

“Through­out the year we un­der­take a se­ries of fundrais­ing events and ac­tiv­i­ties. These events al­low us to con­tinue to pro­vide this sup­port and ex­pand our ser­vices fur­ther,” said Mr Scally.
