Enable Ireland thank TLI for €8,400 in donations
ABBEYDORNEY-BASED company TLI Group have presented almost €8,400 to Enable Ireland Kerry Services over the last year.
TLI Group – one of Ireland’s leading electrical engineering and consultancy companies – selected Enable Ireland as the firm’s 2017 Charity of the Year.
The money was raised from a series of events and activities organised throughout the year and the latest donation was presented to the charity by TLI staff last week.
The latest staff-led initiative was linking the company’s safety performance to charity, which saw a cheque being presented every three months for an amount based on all employees’ safety involvement.
The cheque for this quar- ter was presented by Aaron O’Mahony as he was singled out for his safety performance.
On top of this, the company also completed a charity walk and bake sale.
“In the last 12 months TLI have raised a whopping €8,399 for our services in Kerry. We can’t thank all the staff enough for all their efforts and support,” said Enable Ireland Kerry Services Manager Sean Scally
“This money has allowed us to significantly update our Assistive Technology Department by purchasing an Interactive Whiteboard, an iPad Air and an iPad rack. This most recent donation of €3,399 will be used to purchase equipment to enhance the services we provide to children and adults with disabilities in Kerry” Sean added.
“Throughout the year we undertake a series of fundraising events and activities. These events allow us to continue to provide this support and expand our services further,” said Mr Scally.
