The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition)

Christmas is in focus at the Outlet Centre

-

IT’S officially okay to talk about Christmas, and Killarney Outlet Centre is promising an end to the anxiety that comes with this time of year, all thanks to its Christmas Craft and Food Fair on November 26.

From 12pm to 6pm, the fair will offer the best in local arts, crafts and food products, as Christmas Shoppers get their shopping out of the way early to fully enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.

Everything on display will be handmade whether it be weaving, cheese, a piece of pottery or woodcarving, candles or chocolates, and a fine selection of foods from the local producers will offer the best of Kerry’s fresh, quality foods.

“Shoppers won’t be able to resist the smell of fresh waffles, the allure of jams, preserves and pates or the taste of traditional home baking,” Centre Manager Paul Sherry said. “For the sweet of tooth, there are sumptuous handmade chocolates, fudge, and Christmas confections.”

He also promises “a wide variety of quality handmade Irish crafts, from crochet and knitting, ceramics and glassware to original paintings, old Kerry photographs, handmade Christmas cards and ornaments.”

Entry will be free, with ample car parking on offer on what looks set to be an exciting Sunday.
