PIPE BAND RE-ORGANISED:The

Valentia Pipe Band staged a very welcome come-back on Sunday last and it was heartening to see the that the old spirit is still being kept alive by Sonny Curran, Pageon Murphy, Owen McCrohan, Georgie Curran, Pat Joe Lynch, John O’Connor and Nealie Murphy.

The young players, Michael O’Connell (Church Terrace), and Pat Curtin had their first outing with the band and were acclaimed a great success.
