RUN THE GAUNTLET

Run The Gauntlet is one of the toughest but one of the most scenic Half Marathons in the running calendar. Now in its 9th year, the route takes runners through the Gap of Dunloe and the Black Valley before the turnaround point at Lord Brandons and then retracing ones steps to the finish line at Kate Kearneys Cottage. Compared to the last couple of years, the weather this year was ideal for the running of the race. Well done to John Mcgillycuddy, Suzanne Foley, Stephen Griffin & Vivian Juffs who took part. Great running by all.

EDDIE MURPHY RACE

Congratulations to Thomas Bubendorfer who placed second on Sunday in the Eddie Murphy Memorial 30mile race in Sixmilebridge. Thomas finished in a great time of 3.50

CROSS COUNTRY

Star of the Laune are hosting the Munster Intermediate, Junior & Juvenile B Cross Country in Beaufort on Sunday 3rd December.

JINGLE RUN

The annual Puck Warriors 10k & 5k Jingle Run takes place in Killorglin on Saturday 25th November. Registration takes place between 8 and 9.30am @AFitBody Gym located at The Sports Complex, with the race starting at 10am.
