Recovery Haven set for Kerry Craft Fair

-

TRALEE Shopping centre will be oozing Christmas spirit this Saturday, December 2, as the town centre premises hosts the annual Recovery Haven Kerry Craft Fair.

Management at the shopping centre on The Mall have offered to open up several empty units to facilitate this year’s craft fair – a hugely important fundraiser for the busy cancer support service based at Haig’s Terrace.

A superb selection of Kerry craftspeople have signed up to showcase their wares on the day, each offering some wonderful Christmas gift ideas as we head into the busy festive season. From arts and crafts and jewellery to candles, Christmas cards and woodwork, shoppers will have plenty to choose from on the day.

Recovery Haven Kerry - which offers free, therapeutic support to cancer patients across Kerry, will also have an information stand at the fair, as well as their own stall filled with some wonderful Christmas gift hampers.

Paying tribute to the management at Tralee Shopping Centre, as well as all the craftspeople who are taking part, Recovery Haven Kerry’s PR & Marketing Officer Marisa Reidy is encouraging the public to come along between 12 noon and 5pm to offer their support.

“Firstly we have to say a massive thank you to the management and the existing tenants at Tralee Shopping Centre who came on board immediately when we approached them with the idea,” said Marisa

“They could not have done more for us and we are extremely grateful to them for their support and enthusiasm and for offering us the use of great town centre location,” Marisa said.

“We are also hugely grateful to all the craftspeople who have pledged their support to us, so now all we need is for the public to embrace the event and not only make it a success for us at Recovery Haven Kerry, but also for those who will be showcasing their crafts on the day.

“The support of the public is vital for all of us, so hopefully people will pop in and do a bit of Christmas shopping with us,” she finished.
