All Ireland winner O’Connor on board in new developmen­t role

AT Monday’s County Committee meeting, chairman, Tim Murphy informed delegates that Joe O’Connor will join the Kerry Senior Football team set up as Head of Athletic Developmen­t.

Niall O’Mahony (Spa) will become the Senior Strength and Conditioni­ng Coach. Manager Eamonn Fitzmauric­e (Finuge) will be joined by selectors Mikey Sheehy (Austin Stacks), Padraig Corcoran (Dingle), Liam Hassett (Laune Rangers) and Maurice Fitzgerald (St Marys).

As part of the overall strategy which was outlined previously the chairman added that Kerry GAA are now commencing the three year programme of supports not only for the senior football team, but for all inter-county teams to ensure a fully streamline­d and co-ordinated programme is achieved.

Ticket Scheme

THE new Kerry GAA 5 Year Ticket Scheme (2018 – 2022) was launched at Monday night’s meeting of the County Committee.

Entry to the new scheme, costing €600 per unit is now open and will form an ideal Christmas gift for the Kerry supporters. Each scheme member will receive a free Kerry Jersey personalis­ed and autographe­d by a player of choice if desired.

The 5-Year Ticket will entitle supporters to purchase stand tickets for the following games:

All Ireland Final involving Kerry Allianz National League Final involving Kerry

Munster Championsh­ip games in Killarney involving Kerry Munster Championsh­ip games in Páirc Uí Chaoimh involving Kerry Other Munster stadia for any Championsh­ip games involving Kerry Stand ticket for any All Ireland

quarter-finals involving Kerry in Killarney or in Croke Park

Full details of the scheme and entitlemen­ts will be confirmed at the County Committee meeting.

2018 Pass

THE very popular Kerry GAA Pass which entitles the bearer to entry to all games under the auspices of the Kerry County Committee and Divisional Committees is now available to purchase at Kerry County Board Offices in Austin Stack Park and in the Kerry GAA Store in the Outlet Centre Killarney. Cost is €125 and this is a very popular and ideal Christmas Gift.

Note: The Pass is not valid for Provincial and National games.
