The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition)

A great year with the best yet to come

-

IT’S that time of year again when Christmas is coming and we can stop and take stock of the year just gone. Kenmare Marketing and Events Group (KMEG) would like to thank all the volunteers who have helped out at events in 2017.

As the calendar gets busier and busier we are calling on people to donate their time to the town on a regular basis and we are so grateful to all those who give their time to lend a hand. We would also like to thank our members for their continued enthusiasm and support.

The KMEG membership fees pay for the festivals and events in Kenmare, along with Christmas lights and marketing. The businesses contributions are vital and the co-operation between community groups and the businesses has resulted in projects which lengthen the season and benefits both residents and visitors alike.

So a big thank you to everyone and we look forward to 2018 which looks to be shaping into a busier than ever year with the following:

Kenmare Wedding Fair weekend in Feb.

Quest Kenmare adventure series in March.

Feile Neidin in April.

Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare in May.

Small Roads Theatre Festival in Sept/Oct. Kenmare’s Halloween Howl in Oct.

Christmas in Kenmare Events in Dec.
