Conversational Irish has resumed in Ionad na Dromoda every Tuesday night from 7:308:30 with Micheal Hallissey. Parents are required to attend as well as Children and all community members are also welcome.
RIVER CATCHMENTS
An Information evening on the Inny and Cummeragh River Catchments Date: Monday 11th December Start time: 7pm Location: Dromid Community Center
This meeting will take place on the 11th of December and will look at the water quality of both river systems, what’s living in them and at land use in the area and potential opportunities.
COMPUTERS FOR FARMERS
Farmers, learn how to use computers as part of your farming role. Learn how to access and use Agricultural applications in particular Agricultural Foods website and ICBF website. Please avail of this wonderful service which is free of charge. It is essential that you ring on 0669475466 anytime to make an appointment with the nurse. If the nurse is unavailable at the time you ring leave your name and number and she will come back to you. Procedures available are; Blood Pressure checks, Dressings, Supplies, General Information and any health queries you might have.

A class for Christmas wreath making will take place in the Ballinskelligs Community Centre on Thursday 7th December at 11.00am.

HEALTH CHECK
The District Nurse will be coming to the Ballinskelligs Community Centre on Thursday 30th November to check blood pressure and to answer any questions you may have regarding health matters.

To commemorate the centenary of the death of Thomas Ashe, Killarney Library is currently hosting an exhibition of archival documents, photographs, personal effects and other memorabilia relating to the West Kerry patriot. The exhibition will run until the end of December during library opening hours. Free admission.
