The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition)
Family day in Ventry
CLEAN Coasts and Other Voices, together with a host of local and national groups are running a wonderful coastal themed family event in Ventry Hall on Saturday, December 2, starting at 11am.
The day will involve a lot of games, art, music, experiments, science and fun, all focused on our amazing marine environment and what better place to run the event than in the coastal beauty of Ceann Trá. The event is completely free to attend.
Throughout the day there will be a number of stands running their experiments and games all day. There will also be workshops (see below) running from 11.30am. They include: squid dissections, drumming, music, art and culminatingin a performance piece - Cunasach Trá.
This is an event not to be missed. Come along, bring your family and let’s celebrate our wonderful marine environment. It’s a great way to spend the day learning about our coasts and how we can enjoy and protect them.
