NEW YEARS DAY

The 30th annual Charles O Shea Memorial 10k & 5k Run is happening on New Years Day. Race begins at 12 noon with registration beforehand in Beaufort Community Hall. Lots of category prizes and there will be a souvenir mug for all entrants. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Hall. Runners, walkers & joggers welcome. Always a great way to begin the new year.

GOAL MILE

The Goal Mile takes place again this year on Christmas Day at the ISK between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Run, walk or jog the mile and give a donation for this very worthy cause.

HOWTH MARATHON

Congratulations to Thomas Bubendorfer who took part in 2 marathons in Howth last weekend. These marathons were organised by East of Ireland Marathon Club. Thomas did very well finishing in second place in the first marathon on Friday, following it with another good run on the Saturday.

FARRANFORE 5K

Farranfore MaineValley AC are holding their annual 5k race/ fun run on St, Stephen’s Day. The race was first run in 1961 and is always a very well organised event.
