TRALEE Musical Society is gearing up for another night of extravaganza next month when its young stars take to the dance-floor to show off their fancy footwork.

‘Strictly Young Dancing’ will take place in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel on the night of Saturday, February 3, and tickets for a show billed as a “great night of entertainment” are now readily available to buy from a number of locations around the town.

“It’s getting closer now so we’re all very excited for the night to finally come around. It’s going to be a great night of entertainment for all,” said Natalie Murphy, PRO for the Musical Society, talking to The Kerryman on Friday.

Preparations are currently in full swing for the night, but Natalie says that they are still on the look-out for another dance pairing who would like to take part on the night.

“I think we have space for one more pairing of dancers. So, anyone who feels they might be interested in taking part in the show on the night, they can email us before this weekend on traleemsociety@gmail.com to let us know,” she continued.

“There are two age categories on the night, ages six to 12 and 13 to 18. The night will feature all he ‘Strictly’ genres that people know and love - ballroom, jive - everything. It’ll be great fun,” she finished.

Tickets will cost €10 and are available to buy from Revolution Dance School, Cassie Leens School of Dance and Bryan Carr School of Performing Arts.
