Mixed fortunes in inter-league
INTER LEAGUE Under 12
KERRY were beaten by Limerick District in their Subway Inter League game but are still in contention with two games to go. Both Leagues also had Development Squads in action and the teams drew 1-1 with Aaron Carey getting the Kerry goal.
Under 13
THE Kerry Under 13 have moved onto seven points from their three games in the Subway Munster Inter League Group 1 competition. They came from 1-0 down at half time in UL to draw 1-1 with Limerick District thanks to a Cormac Dillon goal.
Kerry will be at home to Limerick Desmond on February 11 and away to Limerick County in their final Group game in early March.
Under 15
KERRY are one game away from Munster Plate glory as they take on Waterford in WIT this Sunday in the decider. The Kingdom were very unlucky to miss out on a place in the Cup semi-final as the missed out by one goal on goal difference following the Group competition.
Kerry finished level with West Cork on four points thanks to a win over Waterford and a draw with West Cork in a game where they had a last minute chance to snatch a win.
They bounced back with a Plate semi-final win over Limerick Desmond while Waterford were easy winners over North Tipperary. The winners from this game will be away to Leinster in the All Ireland Plate semi-final.
