CARERS SUPPORT GROUP

Carers Support Group meetings resume on Thursday 18th January at the Glenbeigh Hotel. Meet for lunch at 1p.m. Coping Strategies course continues at 2p.m. Wishing all carers a very happy New Year.

AWARE GROUP MEETINGS

Killarney on Monday in the K.D.Y.S. at 7.30p.m. Tralee on Tuesday at 8.00p.m... These meetings are free of charge and no referral is necessary.

GLENBEIGH HOTEL

Enjoy a night of music, song and dance at The Glenbeigh Hotel on Saturday 27th January from 8.30p.m. All welcome including musicians and singers.

DEATH

Eileen Riordan nee Griffin, Ballinakilla Upper, Glenbeigh, Co.Kerry died on the 25th December. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, wonderful mother to James and Patrick, her grandchildren Roisin, Simon, Conrad, James, daughter in law Jacqueline and Kathryn, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

FIRST RESPONDERS

The church gate collection collected €210. These funds go towards replacing batteries pads, equipment and training. We would like to thank Michael Griffin Electrical for installing the new heated AED box outside Rosspoint bar, Rossbeigh in addition to the two other AED’s at O’Riordans, Mountain stage and the Glenbeigh GAA grounds. The HSE ambulance service will be holding a public meeting in February to discuss training Cardiac First Responders and joining their system . Date to be confirmed. For more info contact 0872322868.
