JUNIOR SET DANCING

Junior Set Dancing Classes will commence on Friday 19th at 7pm for beginners / intermedia­tes and 8pm for advanced. Children 4 years upwards are welcome from within and outside the Parish. This is an ideal opportunit­y for young people to learn our traditiona­l sets, make new friends and get some valuable exercise. A reminder that Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Ennis Series (starting on Friday 19th January 2018 at 7.30pm on RTE 1)

Fleadh Cheoil is a series of six television programmes from the Ennis Fleadh Cheoil presented by John Creedon and Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabh­áin.

The series will showcase a host of musicians and singers who attended the Fleadh including Tom Doorley, Gerry O’Connor, Oisín MacDiarmad­a, Damien Mullane, Liam O’Brien, Derek Hickey, Therese McInerney, Claire Egan, Brian Hughes, Eoin O’Neill, Bryan O’Leary, Dave Sheridan, Edel Vaughan, Michael Blackie O’Connell, Siobhan Peoples, Cyril O’Donoghue as well as Ard Ollamh for 2017 Padraig Donlon.

Among the groups featured are Dúchas, Bygone Lane, Fisher Street, D’Bize and The Shandrum Ceili Band along with the Mooney and the Nesbitt families.

TG4 family talent show: TG4 are looking for performing families to audition for their "family Talent’ show. They are looking for Ireland’s most talented family to take part in a brand new TV show. If you and your brother or sister, father, mother, granny has a talent, now is your chance to make your family a household name.

As we know, Irish families have excelled in their particular genres, whether it’s the pop music of The Corrs or the sean-nós dancing of the Cunningham­s. Now it’s time to find the next family that will entertain the nation. This brand new talent show for TG4 will search the country high and low for a new famous performing family.
