ONGOING PROGRAMMES

South West Kerry Family Resource Centre is here to support all families in the communities of the Iveragh Penisula. Ongoing programmes include family support, play therapy, counselling, parenting and self-development, learning support for children with reading and spelling difficulties, school holiday activity days, 6th class transition, ante natal classes and a breast-feeding group. Here to listen and respond with confidentiality a priority -- you are welcome to call into the centre in Cahersiveen and talk with a member of staff.

ERASMUS EXCHANGE

We are embarking on an exciting 6 month Erasmus Exchange programme with Finland for young people aged 18-30 years old. This project will engage participants from South West Kerry and Finland in a range of activities including music, visual art, storytelling, documentary photography and film, event management and trip organisation.

An information meeting about this Erasmus Exchange will be held at 11.30am on 26th January 2018 in the College Arms, Old Post Office Street, Cahersiveen V23 HN81 for all 18-30 year olds interested in finding out more or you can contact Pippa on 0870629072 or at pippaswkfrc@gmail.com.

PARENTING COURSE

Free 4 week parenting course starts in the South West Kerry Family Resource Centre on Thursday 25th January 9.45am to 11.45am, for families with children up to 12 years. Book a place by calling the Centre on 066 9481000.
