A deli counter offering choice, freshness and taste...

-

MANAGER Derry Murphy explains that people now want ‘food convenience’ and a way of offering this is through a quality deli counter which goes that little bit further in terms of choice and variety.

The Murphy’s SuperValu deli caters for all taste buds from the traditional to the artisan, the latter being down to Kenmare’s diversity as a town, and one of the best ways in which to express diversity is through food.

For example, the deli has a superb selection of cottage and artisan cheeses, both Irish and European varieties; a charcuterie (cold cooked meats) and olive selection which is of Continental standard.

New products are constantly being developed to suit the evolution of consumer taste and demand and they recently added a ready-meals sector which is overseen by an instore Chef. This range of food includes quiche, pizza, potato gratin, mashed potato, and their signature roast potatoes with duck fat. SuperValu also offer a full catering solution for all occasions and you should consider calling in to discuss your options and needs: ‘if you can eat it, they will make it’ is the simple message.

“Kenmare has always been a knowledgeable food town and its reputation for producing quality cheeses is a well-established one; a tradition that we in Murphy’s SuperValu are proud to facilitate through our deli counter,” said Derry.
