Aidan helps launch Fenit cycle

-

AIDAN O’Mahony is helping the community of Fenit gear up for another big year of their increasingly-popular Coastal Cycle.

Now in its sixth year, it was launched this week by the Strictly Come Dancing winner at the event’s sponsor David O’Sullivan’s Cycles in Killarney, ahead of what is expected to be a greater event than ever – when it takes place on Saturday, March 24.

As ever it will raise much-needed funds for the local primary St Brendan’s, with two special charities also set to benefit in 2018. “This year we are delighted to be supporting Kerry Cork Health Link Bus and Diabetes Ireland,” organiser Jacinta Lawlor said, urging cyclists everywhere to sign up.

There’s some incentive after all, with registered participants in with a chance of winning a bike worth €1,000 from David O’Sullivan. Check it out now on Facebook (Fenit Coastal Cycle) or www. stbrendansfenit.scoilnet.ie.
