Great Kerry prizes on offer in Siobhán Mather fundraiser

- By FERGUS DENNEHY

FAMILY and friends of two-year-old Siobhán Mather, who has strong Kerry conections through her parents and grandparents, have organised a UK based fundraiser to help pay for her treatment.

Siobhán was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma last year and now a number of fundraising events are taking place in an effort to send her and her family to the US where experimental treatment is available.

Organisers of the upcoming ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ event in the Claddagh Ring in Hendon on Thursday, February 15, are offering the people of Kerry the chance to win a number of fantastic prizes in an online auction; all the fuunds raised from the auction will go towards Siobhán’s treatment.

Some of the Kerry-based prizes on offer include a two night stay at the Rose Hotel in Tralee, a two-night stay at the Killarney Heights Hotel, a Kerry Youth jersey signed by the Kerry 2018 panel, an O’Neill’s football signed by the Kerry 2018 panel, tea for two at the Royal Hotel in Killarney and dinner for four at The Randles Court Hotel in Killarney.

To make a bid on one of these great prizes, please email strictly2018@yahoo.com before tonight at 8pm; any questions about auction items can be directed towards 004407940370688.
