East Kerry Super League – Round one Dr Crokes V Rathmore We had a comfortable win over Rathmore in this first round East Kerry Super League. The fact we had the advantage of the strong breeze against under strength opponents in the first half almost ensured that we would build up a good lead. This is excatly what happened as we sent over urteen points (all from play) in this first 30 minutes. Rathmore got on top in the early minutes of the second half and a goal in the 34th minute reduced our lead to nine points. We got back on top again at the end of the third quarter and a few major scores gave us a comfortable victory. The game was a good run out for both clubs and it was a compliment to both teams and indeed Referee Mike Brosnan that their enthusiasm never lessend inspite of the horrible weather. Our top scorers on the day were Mark O’Shea and Micheál Potts. Three of our side had their first scores at Senior Level – Micheál Potts, James Kelly and Lorcan McMonagle.
