Tralee to get global exposure

-

RACING at Tralee is going to be seen by a much wider audience than just those people who frequent the betting shops of Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.

The betting shop provider, SIS, is to launch a dedicated new greyhound channel which will give free access to a global audience.

Three Irish greyhound tracks, Tralee, Youghal and Mullingar, are contracted to SIS, along with eight English tracks, and a total of 42 race meetings a week will be shown on the new channel.

SIS says that is moving towards a “watch and bet” model, which is based on the premise that free access to pictures will result in greater turn-over on races. All good for Tralee Track, clearly..
