KILLARNEY PLAZA UNDER 15 Premier

KILLORGLIN took the first points of the season off Camp Juniors following eight straight wins, when Adam Owens scored the only goal of the game which stood despite some players looking for an off side call. Camp Juniors still have a big lead of twelve points, but Killorglin have four games in hand so this was a huge win.

The Park are also on twelve points from their five games and are level with Killorglin and therefore also still in the hunt. They were 3-1 winners at home to Mastergeeh­a in Christy Leahy Park. Earnan Ferris, Leon Gallagher and Dan Fisher got the goals with Brendan O’Leary replying for the Kilbrean side.

Killarney Celtic proved too strong for Inter Kenmare on the day and took the points thanks to goals from William Shine (three), Cian McMahon (two), Cian Doe, Danile Okwute and Killian O’Sullivan.

Division 1

BALLYHAR made it six wins from six at fortress Murt Scott Park as they move onto eighteen points thanks to a win over third placed Killorglin B. Peter Cosgrave and Aaron O’Shea both his hat-tricks for the home side and these were added to by goals from Brian Burke, Anthony Kelly and a Darren Darrnell penalty.

Tralee Dynamos have opened a four point game over third placed Killorglin B thanks to a 2-1 away win at Listowel Celtic. Sean Clifford scored from the penalty spot for Dynamos and this was added to be a goal from Conall Clifford.

Division 2

THE battle for second place behind runaway leaders Rattoo Rovers. Windmill United moved level with Ballyheigu­e after a win away at Dingle Bay Rovers. Eric McMahon scored twice with Mathew Higgins, Thomas Sullivan and Dylan Barry got the Windmill goals with Mark Manning replying for Dingle Bay.

Subway Under 13 Inter League

KERRY played the Desmond League in two games in the Dragon’s Den in Killorglin.

In the Inter League game the visitors were 6-1 winner with the Kerry goal coming from Yago Cornide. However, Kerry turned things around winning the developmen­t game 4-0 thanks to goal from Eoghan Crowley 2, Eoghan Kelly and Kalvin O’Sullivan.
