Lenamore National School

Lenamore National School aims to educate its pupils in happy and pleasant surroundings. We help each child to achieve their full potential, to develop their talents, to be confident and independent learners and to uphold strong Christian values. Pupils partake in a wide range of activities which nurture and promote a well rounded education: Green Schools , Health Promoting School,Active Flag , Incredible Edibles, Discover Primary Science , Junior Entrepreneur. We have enjoyed out- standing success in the areas of art, music and drama winning many competitions including the RTÉ ‘Artifact’ competition whereby pupils won a trip to the RTÉ studios.

In 2016 our school entry ‘The Lenamore Dragon’ was the overall winner of the Listowel St. Patrick’s Day Parade.In 2017 the pupils were County winners in the “Léiriú” (novelty act) category of the Scór na bPáisti competition. Scoil Náisiúnta Léana Mhóir is very proud of its pupils.
