Kerry start ups in tech contest final
TWO Kerry companies have made it into the next round of a prestigious international accelerator programme.
The two firms have been named among Ireland’s top twelve entrepreneurs in the life sciences, medical technology and digital health area at the closing ceremony of phase two of Bridge to MassChallenge.
The businesses – ViClarity and MyAccessHub, both based at Kerry Technology Park – were in Cork last week where they took part in a three-day intensive boot camp,
Both have now been selected to go forward to the next round of the international competition which involves a week-long all expenses paid boot camp in Boston in April.
From this, the top two companies will be selected to go forward to second round judging for one of MassChallenge’s international accelerators.
Over fifty Irish start-ups applied to the competition, twenty were shortlisted to take part in a three-day intensive boot camp in Cork and now the following 12 successful start-ups will advance to the next stage.

ViClarity - a Governance, Risk, Compliance solution that enables Financial Services and Healthcare organizations to Identify, Monitor, Score and Report on risk and compliance.
The challenge is an international competition that aims to identify and accelerate top healthcare and life sciences star ups and connect them to the global market and Mass Challenge’s global network.
Since it was founded, the Mass Challenge network has raised over $2 billion in funding and provided support to 1,211 companies worldwide.
