1. EMMA LANGFORD AND SARA RYAN TO PLAY IN DINGLE

THE hugely talented musician Emma Langford will team up with Sara Ryan this weekend when they perform in Nellie Freds bar in Dingle.

Performing on the night of Saturday, March 3, tickets for this wonderful night of music are set to cost just €10 on the door on the night; the show is set to start at around 10pm on the night and will continue until late.

2. CASTLEISLA­ND LIP SYNC BATTLE

IT’S ‘Lip Sync Battle’ time this coming weekend as Castleisla­nd AFC hosts the great night of fun and dance in the Castleisla­nd Community Centre.

Taking place on the night of Friday March 2, doors for the show are set to open on the night at 7pm with the show itself starting at 8pm; this is an over 18’s event with tickets set to cost €20 - there will be a disco afterwards until late.

3. ‘PRIVATE PEACEFUL’ IN SIAMSA TÍRE

THE popular award winning text book, ‘Private Peaceful’ will be shown in the Siamsa Tíre theatre in Tralee on February 28 and March 1.

4. YOGA FEST COMING TO TRALEE THIS WEEKEND

DUST off your mats this weekend and get ready for the return of the Tralee Yoga Fest.

Taking place this weekend on Saturday March 3 and continuing on Sunday March 4, this years Yoga Fest is a perfect chance to perfect your yoga technique or if you are a beginner, this is your chance to take up one of Ireland’s most popular pasttimes; weekend, full day and half day tickets are currently available to buy from the ‘Ebb and Flow Yoga’ page on Facebook.

5. MIKE DENVER & MARGO TO PLAY IN THE INEC

THE musical talents of Margo and Mike Denver will be in full flow in the INEC this weekend as the two musical heavyweigh­ts perfom on Saturday, March 3.

Tickets for this great night of music are currently on sale from the INEC box ofice and are set to cost just €33.20; doors open on the night at 7:30 with the show itself starting at 8:30pm.

6. MODERN CLASSIC IN TRALEE CINEMA THIS WEEKEND

TRALEE Omniplex continues its runs of screening modern classics this weekend when it shows ‘Thelma and Louise’ from Saturday, March 3 to Monday March 5.

7. TICKETS ON SALE FOR ‘LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS’

TICKETS are currenly on sale for the premiere of the ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ production which will show in Tralee’s Siamsa Tíre from Wednesday, March 21 to Saturday March 24.

Presented by the ground-breaking Light Opera Society of Tralee, the smash hit sci-fi musical has devoured the hearts of theatre and cinema goers for over 30 years.

The show will be directed by talented Tralee duo Aidan and Gráinne O’Carroll; tickets are set to cost €19 with the show starting at 8pm on the night.

8. ‘JOHNNY CASH’ TO PLAY IN SIAMSA TÍRE

DIRECT from the USA, the number one Johnny Cash Tribute in America returns to Ireland for a short tour, including a show in Tralee’s Siamsa Tíre on Wednesday, March 7.

Terry Lee Goffee is Johnny Cash and this is the one show you won’t want to miss; tickets are available to buy from the Siamsa Tíre box office and will cost between €20 and €22 - show starts at 8pm.

9. KCFE TO HOLD INFO EVENING FOR PARENTS

AN infomation evening for parents and guardians of school leavers will take place in the Kerry College of Further Education (KCFE) this coming Thursday, March 1.

Starting at 6:30pm, the event will aim to educate parents on a number of the full-ime edication options available in the college for the coming year; there is free admission on the night with light refreshmen­ts available after.

10. GET EXERCISING THIS WEEKEND WITH PARKRUN

WHY not try to head down to take part in one of the many parkruns taking place around Kerry at the weekends?

There are four parkruns in Kerry: Tralee, Killarney, Listowel and the Tralee Junior parkrun.

These free 5km events are run every weekend by volunteers and they have been proven to be extremely popular in improving both physical and mental health.

The Tralee. Listowel and Killarney parkruns are held every Saturday morning from 9:30am onwards while the Tralee Junior parkrun takes place on Sunday at 9:30am - these 2km events are aged for children from 4-14 years old. People can register and print off their barcode at parkrun.ie.
