IF fully focussed on football, Ballyduff would be comfortably higher up the

echelons in the big ball game. Not that there is anything wrong with hurling being their first love, (they’re the reigning County Champions of course) but when you see them reach North Kerry Football finals after then you do feel there is genuine promise there to make something better happen for football enthusiasts in the club. In the County Football League they nearly withdrew a couple of years ago but the two tier nature of this competition might generate more interest in one or other of the two sections.
