Ardfert celebrates big digital win in national competition

A DIGITAL project undertaken at Ardfert National School claimed top spot at the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil Cornmarket Awards in Kilkenny on Friday in a massive achievement for the school.

The project was edited by fifth class teacher Ms Dolores Martin and compiled along with Mr Tomás Hanafin.

It involved the use of photographic and live recordings of the myriad of ways in which teachers and pupils in the school promote Gaelic games and culture in the school.

The award was presented by Bernie Ryan national chairperson of Cumann na mBunscol Náisiúnta and Michael Pitt, who was reperesenting the sponsors Cornmarket. Ardfert NS pupils and staff celebrating their big digital project win at the school on Monday.
