Dromid Pearses v Templenoe

Sneem GAA Grounds St Patrick’s Day, 1.30pm SNEEM is always a great place to be, but this fixture is a real bonus for football followers.

Two very competitive teams battling for the first silver wear of the season. Templenoe had three fine wins over Renard, St Michaels / Foilmore and St Marys respectively, while Dromid took out Sneem / Derrynane and Skellig Rangers.

Considering Templenoe will be without their County contingent, but still have a good footballing outfit and should trouble a full strength Dromid Pearses. Both teams were at the losing end to Kerins O’Rahillys and Na Gaeil, both very decent opposition, last weekend but only very narrowly.

I would be anticipating a few very interesting match-ups. For example Grahm O’Sullivan v Brian Crowley; Kieran O’Neill v Niall O’Shea; Dominic O’Sullivan v Teddy Doyle; Stephen O’Sullivan v Shane O’Connor; Pat Spillane v Aiden S O’Sullivan; Cian Hallissey v Cian O’Shea are just a few examples all adding to what should be a very entertaining final.

I also have a feeling that we may see an appearance from Tadhg Morley on his road to recovery. So it’s a question of who wants to get back to winning ways the most. We should know around 3pm St Patricks Day in Sneem.
