Currow opened their Division 2 County league campaign with a 2 point loss to Milltown\Castlemaine in Milltown on Sunday

Currow lead 6 points to 5 at half time with scores from Seamus Brosnan John Buckley (2) Pa Mc Carthy Daniel O Shea and a Mike Mc Carthy free.The second half saw Miltown /Castlemaine take a lead with 4 points from Gavin Horan helping them to a 13 point total .Mike Mc Carthy goaled for Currow and further points from Pa Mc Carthy and debutant Adam Manley .Currow scored 2 Goals late in the game both of which were ruled out for unkown reasons .It left the final score of 13 points to 1.08.
