All is now set for St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Those taking part please be at the G. A. A. grounds at 12 o’clock sharp. The parade will start directly after Mass Hoping for a great day, so please come out and support those taking part and the entertainm­ent after the parade. Please, please support local businesses as they are the sponsors of the parade and without them there would not be a parade.

HANDBALL

Congratula­tions to Jack O’ Shea and Rory O’ Connor on winning the Munster Junior ‘’A’’ Doubles Final at Ballydesmo­nd Co. Cork. They gave a brillant display in defeating Ryan Harkin and Ciaran Buckley Co. Cork 2112 21-3 to advance to All-Ireland semi-final in two weeks.

ALL-IRELAND SEMI-FINAL: Glenbeigh Handball Club hosted two All-Ireland Handball Semi Finals on Sunday. MASTER ‘’A’’ SINGLES Dominick Lynch defeated Vinny Moran Co. Mayo 21-10 21-13 in All-Ireland Master ‘’A’’Singles Semi-Final.JUNIOR ‘’A’’ SINGLES Jack O’Shea defeated Denis Creaton, Roscommon in All-Ireland Junior ‘’A;; Singles Semi-Final,,Both players will travel to Kingscourt, Co. Cavan on this Sunday 18th March to play the All-Ireland Finals. Best of luck to both.
