A dance in aid of Portmagee Community Centre will be held on Good Friday Night, Fri, 30th March in Portmagee Community Centre . Music by Ger O’Donoghue from 9.00pm. Refresment­s served on the night. Your support will be greatly appreciate­d.

RACE NIGHT

Skellig Rangers GAA are holding a Race Night on Fri March 30th in the Bridge Bar at 9pm. Members will be selling horses over the next few weeks for €20 each. If you would like to buy a horse, please contact any member of Skellig Rangers. If you would like to sponsor a race (€100) or be a co-sponsor (€50), please contact Ger/Aideen/ Collette/Mark or any member of Fundraisin­g Committee. Your support is greatly appreciate­d. All welcome on the night, a great night of fun guaranteed.

MOBILE CARDIAC SCREENING

A Mobile Cardiac Screening Unit is willing to come to the local area if enough people are interested in using it’s services. They screen anybody over the age of 12 years and the main aim is to reduce the incidents of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) and promote a healthy lifestyle. The screening will only take 20mins and costs only €65 (If you have LAYA health cover then it is FREE and there may be a discount with other insurance providers).

The screening will include Blood Pressure Measuremen­t, ECG, Obesity Screening, a Medical exam with a doctor, etc. The unit will require at least 25 people to sign up before they will commit to coming to Portmagee area.
