Under 14 games of big benefit to Eoghan Rua players

KENMARE District Board and Eoghan Ruadh U14 players have taken part in games over the last month.

This has proved of great benefit to all players and management team in gaining first hand experience of the standard of players at this level. East Kerry clubs consisting of Legion, Dr Crokes, Spa, Fossa, Listry and Firies will be asked to send players born in 04 only to a trial match next Sunday. Time and venue to be confirmed. Vince Cooper East Kerry / Kenmare GDA will be in touch with coaching officers to confirm details during the week.

Kenmare District Board coaching academy will take place in Kenmare GAA club on Monday March 26 and Thursday March 29. The purpose of the academy is to prepare teams for school and county championship games.

Vince Cooper East Kerry / Kenmare GDA and Brian Fitzgerald (ITT) will deliver the games based coaching sessions on the astro turf pitch. It is vital that all players are made aware of the event full attendance is expected.

Under 13 / Under 14 session at 10am with Under 15 / Under 16 session at 11 am. These coaching sessions are open to all club coaches in the Kenmare District Board.

Sympathy

EAST Kerry Board would like to send deepest sympathy on recent death of John Griffin Faha member of Listry GAA club.

John was East Kerry Board Delegate and was officer within his club also served Referee in past Deepest sympathy to his wife Margaret,daughter Elizabeth, extended family and friends and members of Listry GAA club and also sympathy to Kieran O’Keeffe Rathmore Delegate to east Kerry Board and member of Competitions Control Committee on death of his mother in law Bridie O’Donoghue Kilquane Headford may both them rest in peace.

Blitzes

KERRY Coaching and Games are planning to organize one day Under 8 and Under 10 Go Games Football Blitzes over the Easter Break in Tralee.

The blitzes are open to all clubs and will take place on the dates below in the afternoon (2-5pm). Clubs that are interested in taking part will be on the field for roughly an hour. Under 8 Blitz on Wednesday April 4 Games will be 7-a-side. Clubs may enter two teams if they wish.
