Listowel Celtic go top of the table in 1A with two-one victory over battling Castleisland
JK SPORTS UNDER 12 Division 1A
LISTOWEL Celtic’s 2-1 win over Castleisland sees them go top of the table and lead Killarney Celtic by two points. Jack O’Donoghue got the consolation goal for Castleisland.
Division 1B
MASTERGEEHA stay top of the division after a scoreless draw with Ballyhar who stay third. The Kilbrean side had keeper TJ Healy to thank for their point as he saved a penalty.
Division 2A
A 3-1 win at Killarney Athletic sees Camp Juniors move to the top of the table. Their goals came from Fionn Dario and Paudie Fitzgerald in the first half but they needed keeper Carl Mitchels to be in top form to keep Athletic at bay.
Camp Juniors wrapped up the game in the second half when Callum O’Brien set up Dario for his second.
Division 2B
ALL four sides in 1B were in action and Killorglin C lead the way after a hard fought 4-3 win over Listowel Celtic B.
Aaron Doyle hit three for the winners with Darragh Lynch getting the fourth, while Mikey Foley and Luke O’Regan were on the mark for the North Kerry side.
Jake Keating and Michael O’Sullivan got the goals for Ballyhar, but it wasn’t enough to earn anything from the game as they went down 5-2 to the Park.
