Five Kerry players named on All Star basketball teams

FIVE Kerry basketballers have been named among the 2017/18 Travelodge All Stars team announced this week as the basketball season comes to a close.

The All Stars, supported by Travelodge, were voted for by the head coaches of every team in each of the four Basketball Ireland National League divisions.

Trae Pemberton and Kieran Donaghy were selected from Garvey’s Tralee Warriors, while newly crowned Division One champions, Keane’s SuperValu Killorglin have Kevin Grey and Daniel Jokubaitis among the awards. Scotts Lakers Killarney’s fine season in Division One has been recognised with Antuan Bootle named on the Division One team two.
