The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition)
The week in tweets
Kerry and Tyrone may have played out a dead rubber, but there was lots of exciting action in the final rounds of the National Football League with relegation and promotion decided across the divisions...
Conor Mrtimer @Conmort
Stayed up that was the goal and was achieved. Performance pretty stuttering and serious work to do before Galway. getting our injured regulars back is vital for us to have any crack at Connaught and all Ireland. Donegal will be kicking themselves tonight.Ref a shambles as usual
David Brady @D9BMayo
Kevin Mcloughlin has done more for Mayo football that he might ever realise..Thank you Kevin. Loftus ,O Donohoe, Boland ,O Connor, and Co will only reach the top by playing in DIv 1
ToobanLad @toobanlad
A bad day for the North West counties. Feel for the Donegal lads, but just couldn’t put them away. Hard to single out McBrearty for the one mistake at the end- he carried that team for most of the league campaign. Chins up lads- big stuff starts soon.
Kieran Cunningham @KCsixtyseven
Kevin McLoughlin took too many steps, but Donegal have only themselves to blame for losing yesterday. Should have closed it out.
John Carey @Johnny_C51
That’s the shot!! The balls on Kevin McLoughlin #UpMayo
Anthony Moyles @moylesiea
Kevin mcloughlin once again shows why is 1 of the gutsiest & skillfully players around.. a major unsung hero for that Mayo team
Aaron Kernan @AaronKernan
Huge confidence boost for Monaghan ahead of championship. It’s Irrelevant what team Dublin put out. Very impressive campaign for monaghan beating Kerry, Tyrone, Dublin & losing narrowly to mayo in round 1.
Steven McDonnell @StevenMcD13
Did Jack McCarron mean to chip the keeper? Yessss, all day long. What a finish. #TouchOfClass
David Eakin @David_Eakin23
Gonna have to split Monaghan in two, north and south...getting too easy #AllianzLeague
Tommy Bowe @TommyBowe14
@monaghangaa some win today lads! Well done
Declan Browne @dbrowne15
Great effort by @TippfootballGAA today, got the rub of the green last year against Armagh to get promoted so have to take this one on the chin and learn from it, plenty of positives, roll on the championship, also must say standard of refereeing for both sides was brutal
