Moyvane and Foilmore to host Scór semi-finals

THE dates and venues for the remaining Scor competitio­n in the county, the upcoming Scor na bPaisti County semi-finals and finals, have been confirmed and with all nine District Boards taking part - Mid Kerry, South Kerry, North Kerry Football, East Kerry, West Kerry, North Kerry Hurling, Kenmare District, Castleisla­nd District and Tralee St. Brendans - and it promises to be another great evening of entertaint­ment.

The county semi-finals for north of the county go ahead on Saturday April 7 at the Marian Hall, Moyvane underway at 4pm.

The county Semi-finals for south of the county starts at 2pm at the Community Centre Glenbeigh on Sunday April 8.

County finals is pencilled in for Sunday, April 22 at the Foilmore Community Centre getting underway at 2pm.

The county Quiz final has a 11am starting time and will take place at the Intermedia­te Secondary School Killorglin.

Medals will be presented to both winners and runners-up, with certificat­es being presented to each participan­t. The Siobhain Cotter Memorial Shield, which was introduced in 2008 by the Coiste Scor Chairrai, will be presented to the overall club at the end of the competitio­n. The Healy and O’Connor Trophy is for the club that has participat­ed in most Scor discplines (Sinsear, Junior, bPaisti) in the current Scor year.
