Snow Patrol announce show in Killarney’s INEC for May 14

THERE is huge excitement in Kerry this week after the massively successful Snow Patrol announced an INEC show as part of their upcoming Irish tour.

The band, whose hits have included ‘Chasing Cars’, ‘Run’ and ‘Just Say Yes’ will perform in the Killarney venue on the night of Monday, May 14.

Over a two-decade career, Snow Patrol has carved out a unique place for themselves. Since their 1998 debut, Songs for Polarbears, which Pitchfork hailed as “an impressive piece of work,” the band has racked up an impressive number of critical and commercial accolades, including 15 million global album sales, 1+ billion global track streams, 5 UK Platinum Albums, and are Grammy, BRIT Award and Mercury Music Prize nominated.

After a brief interim over the past few years, they are back together now and are raring to on tour.

The band will kick off their tour in the Millenium Forum in Derry on May 11 and will take to the stage in Cork (Opera House, May 12), Killarney (INEC, May 14), Dublin (Olympia Theatre, May 15), Wexford (Opera House, May 16) and Galway (Leisurelan­d, May 18) before concluding proceeding­s at the Ulster Hall in Belfast on May 20.

Tickets for all tour dates, including the INEC show, will go on sale at 10.00am on Friday, March 30 via usual outlets - including the INEC website or box office.
