Kerry lose out in Todd Nolan Shield final to Limerick in Dromakee
THREE games went ahead in the County SHL Division 1 Round 3 last weekend.
On Friday at Abbeydorney it ended all square, Abbeydorney 1-15 Ballyheigue 2-12. On Sunday at Kilmoyley, it ended St. Brendan’s 1-6 Kilmoyley 0-9 and on Monday at Dromakee, Crotta had an impressive 4-13 to 0-10 winoverLixnaw.
The Causeway v Ballyduff game goes ahead this evening (Wednesday) at 6:30pm in Ballyduff. Round 4 is scheduled for the weekend of 14 April.
Todd Nolan Hurling Tournament THE 2018 Todd Nolan inter county under 17 hurling tournament went ahead very successfully last Saturday at Dromakee and Abbeydorney.
In the semi-finals, Waterford defeated Kerry by 4-15 to 2-13 while Cork beat Limerick by 1-20 to 2-11. In the Cup Final, Cork overcame Waterford by 2-12 to 2-9 and after the game Shane Nolan presented the Cup to the Cork captain Brian O’Sullivan while Cian McCarthy received the Player of the Match Award from Richard Nolan. Kerry lost the Shield final to Limerick by 4-16 to 4-8. Overall the tournament was an outstanding success, excellently hosted by both the Crotta and Abbeydorney clubs.
