ACTIVE RETIREMENT

There will be a meeting of the Sceilg le Cheile Active Retirement Group on Monday, 16th of April at 7.30pm in the Ballinskelligs Community Centre.

CLEAN COASTS ROADSHOW

The Ballinskelligs Environmental Action Group will be co hosting a Clean Coasts Roadshow Sunday 15th April, 2-4 pm at Cafe Cois Trá. The Clean Coasts Roadshow is a series of talks for coastal communities which take place all around the coast of Ireland. It aims to bring together those with an interest in protecting their local beaches, seas and marine life. We are delighted to have the following at this year’s Roadshow in Ballinskelligs: - Vincent Hyland; is a well known environmental documentary maker based in South Kerry. He will be showing his documentary Plastics in Paradise which will be followed by a Q&A session.

- Niamh Ni Dhunaill will lead a Biodiversity, Habitats and Wild Plant Walk. Please bring appropriate clothing for the walk!

GLENCAR TEA DANCE

COUNTY ROAD CLEAN-UP

KWD County road clean-up will be on this Saturday 14th April, 2018, bags for this will be available from the Ballinskelligs Community Centre. It would be great if everyone can clean along the road in the front of their property and return bags to rear of hall by Saturday evening. No household waste please. This is a road clean.
