Celtic too strong for Fenit

KILLARNEY Celtic were too strong for Fenit in the last sixteen of the Cup. Robert Brooks hit two goals with Timmy Moynihan, Luke O’Neill, Callum O’Sullivan, Jack O’Sullivan and Shay O’Meara getting the goals for Celtic.

Listowel Celtic defeated Killarney Athletic B by the same score. Evan Boyle, Stefan Carrig, James Wong, Sean O’Mahony, Shane Horgan, Patrick Mulvihill and Oisin Herlihy were on the mark for the North Kerry hoops.

The two Killorglin sides met with the Bs just getting the better of the Cs. The Cs got off to the perfect start leading 2-0 thanks to goals from Ethan O’Mahony and Colin O’Sullivan.

Jack McGrath got his side back into the game with two goals in the second half sending the game into extra time. McGrath proved to be his sides hero getting the winner in the first period of extra time.

Killorglin A joined their club mates in the next round after the just got past Mastergeee­ha 3-2. Darragh O’Connor, Stevie Gannon and John Burke with a cracking free kick saw them through. Hugh Lenihan and Alan O’Leary got the goals for Mastergeeh­a.

Ian O’Sullivan was in great from for Iveragh United as he hit four goals in their 7-1 win over Killarney Celtic B. Zak Fayern, John O’Driscoll and Finn Barrett got the other goals.

Premier side St Brendan’s Park A proved to be too strong for Dingle Bay Rovers and had goals from Cian O’Gara, Callum O’Sullivan, Michael Tansley, Dorian Ferris, Jamie O’Shea and Venice Jahiri in the win.

Inter Kenmare are also into the next round while LB Rovers and Killarney Athletic A will meet to see who takes the last place in the quarter finals.
