KILLARNEY Celtic moved a step closer to reaching the Premier A final with a an easy win over Listowel Celtic at Pat Kennedy Park on Sunday morning. Anthony O’Leary 2, John Mc Donagh, Danny Roche and Stephen Mc Carthy scored for the winners.

Killarney Athletic 3 Dingle Bay Rovers 2

DEFENDING Champions Killarney Athletic took a gigantic leap towards the league final after a crucial win over fellow title challenger­s Dingle Bay Rovers at Woodlawn on Sunday evening.

In a tight game played with a great degree of passion the home side squeezed out a win in a tense game. William Courtney, Shane Lynch and Ryan O’Carroll scored for Athletic. Sean Fitzgerald and Adam O’Rourke scored for Dingle.

Castleisla­nd 2 Fenit Samphires 0

THE home side collected the three points in a game played on a very heavy pitch. Aidan O’Callaghan and Stephen McCarthy scored for the winners.

DENNY PREMIER B AC Athletic 0 Classic FC 4

THIS was a hugely important win for Classic which greatly enhances theor prospects of avoiding relegation. Shane Fitzgerald, Brendan Smith and Maxwell Mugabe scored for the winners and the other goal was an OG.

Killorglin 4 Killarney Celtic B 2

KILLORGLIN collected the three points in this game but they will come up short in their fight to make the league final. However, they will be hoping to make a major challenge in the Cup. Ryan Keane 2, Edwin Kelliher and Max Gleb scored for the winners.

Rattoo Rovers 0 Tralee Celtic 4

TRALEE Celtic moved within three points of clinching a place in the final after a comfortabl­e win over Rattoo Rovers. John Farragher, Fiachra Dunne, Fergal Moynihan and Jordan Murphy scored for the winners.

They now just need one win from their final two games to reach their fifth successive final.

DENNY DIVISION 1A QPR 0 Strand Road 0

QPR are the new leaders in this division after playing out a scoreless draw with Strand Road..

They are now a point ahead of CG Killarney with a game in hand and have their destiny in their own hands regarding getting to the decider. Best for the East Kerry side were Ciaran O’Mahoney, Ian O’Leary, Daniel O’Sullivan and Shane Reen.

It is a four horse race for the two places fin the league final in this division between QPR, CG, Ballyheigu­e Athletic and coming up along the rails Athletico Ardfert with QPR and CG Killarney favourites on present standings.

DENNY DIVISION 1B Windmill United 3 St Brendans Park 1

THIS was a huge game in the title race and Windmill recorded a great win over the table toppers which brings them into joint third in the table.

The Park went ahead with a Mikey Burke goal but Windmill equalised with a Paudie Bailey penalty. They went ahead with a superb strike by Brendan Savage who became the provider for their third goal which Paudie Bailey scored.

Windmill are now in a very good position to make it to the final 5 points behind the leaders with four games in hand. The Park have now completed their league programme and they will just have to wait and see how the other teams in contention Castlegreg­ory, Asdee Rovers, Listowel Celtic and Windmill United fare with their games in hand.

DENNY DIVISION 2A Mitchels Avenue B 5 Ballymac Celtic 1

MITCHELS Avenue won this game without neding to get into top gear. Raphael Nana was the Ballymac scorer.

DOMINOS PIZZA U17 CUP Dingle Bay Rovers 2 Ballyheigu­e Athletic 3

IN a tight game Ballyheigu­e came away with the spoils with their goals coming from Conor Corrigan, Sean Sheehan and Conor O’Sullivan.

Mastergeeh­a 0 Tralee Dynamos 5

TRALEE Dynamos advance to the next round of the cup after a comfortabl­e win over Mastergeeh­a. Adi Cenali and Sean Kennedy both bagged a brace of goals and Patryk Morawski scored the other goal.
