TIDY TOWN

Our County Clean Up is now in its Seventh Year and happening this Saturday April 14th. Mark your diaries, calendars and event planners for this Saturday April 14th and show your love for our beautiful town by the Laune. Last year we collected a massive 304 bags which stretched outward in a 10 mile radius of Killorglin town. Can we outdo what we did last year. Let’s make it happen. Get the whsole family involved. Together we can make a difference. Saturday April 14th

Mornings Plan: Killorglin Tidy Towns will have a Gazebo set up in Library Place around 9.45. Here we will be co-ordinating the various Crews from Library Place and sending ‘walk-ins’ / volunteers to where crews/neighbours need extra help.

Remember that KWD will only accept KWD RED bags - Killorglin Tidy Towns will have lots of Red bags, but only a limited number of gloves & Hi-Vis vests/ pickers etc - so if you have any equipment, please bring whatever you have with you!!

The KTT teams will patrol the town and approach roads to collect bags throughout the afternoon. IF YOU CAN HELP COLLECT BAGS ON THE DAY, please make yourself know to any of The Organising Committee.

Killorglin Tidy Towns would like to say a huge thank you to KWD for this Amazing event now in its 7th year. Also a big massive thank you to Healy, Crowley & Ahern Solicitors, Iveragh Rd for allowing us use their grounds for drop off location and collection point.
