DENNY DIVISION 2B LEAGUE PLAY-OFF Spa Road 0 Mainebank 1

WITH a place in the final and promotion up for grabs in this game the stakes could not have been any higher and consequently it was a very keenly contested game that hung on a knife edge right up to the final whistle.

The game was between two sides who made a welcome return to the KDL this season and they wanted to cap a great season with a place in the decider.

The goal that decided the game came in the 64th minute and it was a superb finish by Brendan Delaney cutting in from the byline and scoring from a very tight angle.

Mainebank are now promoted and progress to meet CS Clochain Breannainn (CSCB) in the league final.

DENNY PREMIER B Classic FC 2 Mitchels Avenue 3

THIS was a big game for both clubs for contrasting reasons with Classic trying to avoid relegation while a win for Mitchels Avenue would clinch their place in the League Final.
