DRUMM MEMORIAL CUP

Th 53rd annual cycle race for the John Drumm Memorial Cup took place in Currow last Sunday. Over 200 cyclists took part in the 70 mile race over laps of the Currow, Ballybeg, Dromulton, Roches Cross, Castleisla­nd circuit. Winner was Conor Hennebery of the Viner Caremark team with Corkman Paidi O’Brien in second place and Conor Kissane of the Killarney Cycling Club coming in third.

Currow Cycling Club had two competitor­s in the race, Patrick Breen and Hugh MSweeney.

GEORGIE O’CALLAGHAN, RIP

Deepest sympathy is extended to the family, extended family and the soccer family Munster wide, of Georgie O’Callaghan, the man who was loved by all who knew him.

Georgie did more for the youth of Kerry. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

will take place in Currow Church on Saturday, May 12 at 11am.

ANNIVERSAR­Y

The 60th anniversar­y of Currow Church will be celebrated with a special Mass on Friday, June 1 at 7.30pm.

PROCESSION

The Corpus Christi Procession will take place on Saturday, June 2 after the Vigil Mass from the Church to Parkmore Estate.

EUCHARISIT­IC ADORATION

in Currow Parish Centre every Tuesday from 9.30am to 9pm and in Currans Sacristy every Thursday from 5-9pm.
