PARISH NOTES

Please note change of Mass locations for May, beginning next weekend. Mass in St Michael’s Cemetery on Wednesday May 9 at 7.30pm. if the weather is not kind to us all graveyard masses will be transferre­d to the nearest church.

First Holy Communion will take place in Currow Church on Saturday May 12 at 11am.

The 60th Anniversar­y of Currow Church will be celebrated with a special Masson Friday June 1 at 7.30pm.

The Corpus Christi Procession will take place on Saturday June 2 after 7.30pm vigil Mass from the church to Parkmore Estate.

Kerry Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes led by Bishop Ray Browne will take place from Sunday September 2 to Friday September 7 ex Kerry Airport, cost €785. To book contact Mrs Janice O Sullivan on 064-7758219 or email joskdp@eircom.

The Diocese of Kerry will host a diocesan youth pilgrimage to Taizé in France. There are 15 places available. The dates for the pilgrimage are Sunday July 1 to Sunday July 8. For info contact Tomás Kenny on 086 3683778 or tomaskenny@dioceseofk­erry.ie

CYCLISTS NEEDED

Kerry Hospice Foundation are currently appealing for cyclists/ fundraiser­s in the Parish to join their team of cyclists which will help us to raise much needed funds to continue our work in Kerry Hospice Foundation for loved ones on their cancer journey.
